Warning:
Noise can have serious effects
on your health. If the machine noise exceeds 85 dB
(A), please wear suitable hearing protection.
8.
Unpacking
Open the packaging and remove the device carefully.
Remove the packaging material as well as the pack
-
aging and transport bracing (if available). Check
that the delivery is complete. Check the device and
accessory parts for transport damage. In case of
complaints the dealer must be informed immediate
-
ly. Subsequent complaints will not be accepted. If
possible, store the packaging until the warranty pe
-
riod has expired. Read the operating manual to make
yourself familiar with the device prior to using it. On
-
ly use original parts for accessories as well as for
wearing and spare parts. Spare parts are available
from your specialized dealer. Specify our part num
-
bers as well as the type and year of construction of
the device in your orders.

ATTENTION
The device and packaging materials are not toys!
Children must not be allowed to play with plas
-
tic bags, film and small parts! There is a risk of
swallowing and suffocation!
9.
Attachment /
Before starting the
equipment
At least two people are required to install the
device.
9.1 Installing the base frame (Fig. 3 + 6)
For technical reasons of packaging, the stand must
be fitted by the customer.
1.
Install the wheels on the wheel axle (11) as shown
in Fig. 3 and secure it with the retaining rings (cir-
clips) provided.
2.
Now attach the stand (6) and the cross bars (9)
as shown in Fig. 4 and fix them with the star grip
screws (8).
3.
Now install the struts (12) on the wheel axle at the
points provided for this purpose and fix them with
the star grip screws (8) provided.
4.
Fasten the transport handle (7) to the stand (6)
with a fillister head screw (M10 x 80mm), two
washers and a self-locking nut.
9.2 Installing splitter on base frame (Fig. 7) (with
min. two persons)
1. Now connect the splitter to the base frame
2.
Connect the struts (12) at the rear end of the split-
ter, use a fillister head screw (M12 x 20mm) for
the lower drill hole and a cap screw (M6 x 16mm)
for the upper drill hole, as well as a washer and a
self-locking nut.
Remaining hazards
The machine has been built using modern tech
-
nology in accordance with recognized safety
rules. Some remaining hazards, however, may
still exist.
•
The splitting tool can cause injuries to fingers and
hands if the wood is incorrectly guided or support
-
ed.
• Thrown pieces can lead to injury if the work piece is
not correctly placed or held.
• Injury through electric current if incorrect electric
connection leads are used.
• Even when all safety measures are taken, some re
-
maining hazards which are not yet evident may still
be present.
• Remaining hazards can be minimized by following
the safety instructions as well as the instructions in
the chapter Authorized use and in the entire operat
-
ing manual.
• Health hazard due to electrical power, with the use
of improper electrical connection cables.
• Release the handle button and switch off the ma
-
chine prior to any operations.
• Avoid accidental starts of the machine: Do not
press the start button while inserting the plug into
the socket.
• Use the tools recommended in this manual to ob
-
tain the best results from your machine.
• Always keep hands away from the work area when
the machine is running.
