6. A longer service life and more powerful perfor-
mance are achieved if the rechargeable battery is
charged in an air temperature between 18°C and
24°C. Do not charge the rechargeable battery in
air temperatures below 4°C or above 40°C. This is
important to avoid serious damage to the battery.
7. Do not disassemble the rechargeable battery and
avoid mechanical damage to the rechargeable
battery. There is a risk of a short circuit and a dan-
ger of fumes forming. Ensure a supply of fresh air
and consult a doctor if you feel unwell.
Safety instructions for the charging unit
1. Never modify the plug in any way.
Unmodified
plugs and matching sockets will reduce risk of
electric shock.
2. Make sure that the product is only ever charged
indoors, in a dry, cool and well-ventilated environ-
ment.
3. Do not expose the product to strong sunlight for
long periods of time and avoid leaving it near a
heat source. Heat damages the battery and there
is a risk of explosion.
4. Allow a warm battery to cool down before charg-
ing.
5. Do not use batteries that are not rechargeable!
6. Do not use any products other than those sup-
plied. The charging unit and the product supplied
are specifically designed for operation together.
7. Check the charging cable and plug before each
use. Do not use a defective charging unit and
never disassemble the charging unit. Incorrect as-
sembly may result in a risk of fire or electric shock,
or a danger of electrocution.
8. Only operate the charging unit with the appropri-
ate original batteries. Charging other batteries can
lead to injuries and a risk of fire.
9. Avoid mechanical damage to the charging unit.
This may cause internal short circuits.
10.
Do not operate the charging unit on easily flam
-
mable surfaces (e.g. paper, textiles, etc.). Heating
the charging unit during charging may cause a fire
hazard.
11. Do not misuse the charging unit cable. Never use
the cable to carry, pull or unplug the charging unit.
12. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts. Damaged or coiled cables increase
the risk of an electric shock.
10. Take special care when using the product in ele-
vated areas.
11. Do not lean out of the window when using the
product.
12. Only use the product for its intended purpose. Do
not aim the liquid from the spray bottle at people or
animals in the immediate vicinity.

when cleaning or using the product.
19. The product contains a non-exchangeable battery.
Safety instructions for rechargeable battery and
charging unit
1. Warning!
Only use the charging unit supplied with
this product to charge the rechargeable battery. A
charging unit suitable for this type of rechargeable
battery may pose a risk of fire when used with an
-
other type of rechargeable battery. If used improp-
erly, there is a danger of electric shock, and a risk
of overheating or corrosive liquid leaking from the
rechargeable battery.
2. If the product is misused, liquid may leak from the
rechargeable battery. In this case, avoid contact.
In case of accidental contact, rinse with water.
Furthermore, if liquid gets into the eyes, consult a
doctor. Liquid leaking from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
3. Do not place the products or their batteries in
close proximity to fire or heat.
Prolonged exposure
to intense sunlight, fire or other sources of heat
may result in an increased risk of explosion.
4. Batteries can explode in the presence of an igni-
tion source, such as a pilot light. To reduce the risk
of serious injury, never use a cordless product in
close proximity to a naked flame.
An exploded re-
chargeable battery can release debris and chem-
icals. In case of contact, rinse immediately with
water.
5. Protect the rechargeable battery and charging unit
from moisture and humidity. There is a risk of elec-
tric shock.
