spanner (SW18) and set the desired table angle.
Retighten the table locking (I).
Adjusting table height (Fig. 1)
1
Loosen the table locking handle (11).
2
Adjust the drilling table (16) to the desired height.
3
Retighten the table locking handle (11).
Note:
It is better to secure the table in a position so

of the workpiece.
Setting speed and V-belt tension (Fig. 7/8/9)
Attention! Disconnect the drill press from the
power source
1
Remove the 2 screws (D) on the hood belt guard
(8) with a Phillips screwdriver (not included).
2
Loosen the belt tension locking lever (9) and push
the motor (12) aside to relieve any belt tension.

Assembly
Column to Base plate, (Fig. 2)
1
Position the base plate (1) on the floor or work
-
bench.
2
Place the column (15) on the base plate and align
holes in the column (15) with holes in the base plate
(1).
3
Attach and fasten the column (15) by mounting hex

Push the drilling table (16) onto the column (15).
Position the drilling table (16) right above the base
plate (1).
2
Secure the drilling table (16) in position by using the
lock handle (11).
Machine head to column, (Fig. 4)
1
Place the machine head (7) onto the pillar (15).
2
Align the spindle of the drilling machine with the
drilling table (16) and the base plate (1) and tighten
the 2 stud bolts (A) with an Allen wrench (18).

surfaces will prevent the chuck (4) from seating
properly. This will cause the drill bit to wobble. If
tapered hole in the chuck (4) is extremely dirty, use
a cleaning solvent on the clean cloth.
2
Push the chuck (4) up on the spindle nose as far
as it wiII go.
3
Turn chuck sleeve anticlockwise (when viewed
from above) and open jaws in chuck (4) completely.
4
Place a piece of wood on the machine table and
lower the spindle onto the piece of wood. Press
firmly to ensure that the chuck sits exactly.
