Starting the engine despite a flat battery
a)
Via the optional ground service cable:
Disconnect battery wiring (plug/socket) below glare shield on panel
mounting
frame.
Connect plug with 2 pins of special starting cable to socket of aircraft
wire net, clamp negative ground strap to proper terminal of an external
12 V power source and clamp power strap to positive terminal.
Thereafter follow normal starting procedure with master switch ON.
WARNING:
BEWARE OF THE PROPELLER !
With engine running, reconnect battery wiring.

Via the optional ground service receptable)
Plug in special starting cable (plug with 3 pins) into the receptacle socket
below the instrument panel on the left side.
Clamp negative ground strap to proper terminal of an external 12 V power
source, then clamp power strap to positive terminal.
Thereafter follow normal starting procedure with master swich ON.
Caution:
When connecting an external power source, a bridging of the master
switch (circuit breaker) takes place so that even with master switch OFF
the electrical system is in working order as displayed by the engine control
unit.

BEWARE OF THE PROPELLER !
