BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Before you start operating the appliance, check that
1.
the appliance is positioned and levelled properly.
2.
the inlet valve is opened.
3.
the connections of the hoses do not leak.
4.
the appliance is plugged in properly.
5.
the power is switched on.
6.
the hoses are not knotted.
7.
you have removed the complete packaging material..
Before you operate the appliance for the first time:
A)
Adjust the water softener.
B)
Add 1.5 kg water softener (= dishwasher salt) and then fill the container with
water.
C)
Pour in the rinse aid.
D)
Select a washing programme.

Switch on the
appliance.
Open the door and switch on the appliance using the
ON/OFF button.

Fill detergent
container (A/B).

Check rinse aid level
(C).
Comp. A:
for all wash cycles.
Comp. B:
for programmes with pre-
rinse only.
Mechanical indicator C:
Electric indicator* on the control
panel.
Check water softener.. (For models with water softener
system only.)
Electric indicator* on the control
panel. Some models are not equipped
with an electric indicator. Estimate the
needed amount of water softener in
such a case.
