ADJUSTING THE GRILLE LENGTH
Step 1: Loosen the spring
NOTE
If several holding tongs are available, the procedure can be carried out more
quickly by processing all the springs at the same time.
•
Mesure the length of the frame on which the grille is to be placed.
•
Adapt the holding tongs to the spring diameter.
•
Separate the blades which are located in the exceeding part of the grille.
•
Fasten the spring with the holding tongs.
Step 2: Remove the components
•
Unscrew the screw.
•
Remove the screw, the spacers and the desired blades.
NOTE
Do not dispose of the first blade removed! This is the only one
provided with a counterbore and will be inserted again at the
end of the process.
Step 3: Adjust the length
•
Cut off the protruding part of the spring.
Step 4: Insertion
•
Insert the removed blade and make sure that the counterbore points to the
outside.
•
Insert the lag screws and tighten them.
•
Loosen the holding pliers.
Step 6: Repeat the procedure for the other springs
•
Repeat the procedure for the other springs (if a simultaneous processing was
not possible).
•
If the tension between the springs must be increased, the lag screw can be ad-
justed at the end of the process.
