12. Place cartridge into SDD4004 system and close the front cover. Attach the power supply
and plug it into the top of the machine.
PRESSURE SENSOR INSTALLATION
1. The sensor must be installed upstream of the fragrance insertion point and at enough
distance from registers so that sufficient air pressure will exist in the duct to actuate the
switch.
2. Find a location at least 5 times the diameter downstream from any elbows,
obstructions, fans, or any significant change in duct area.
–
For a round duct with a 10” diameter, the insertion point needs to be at least 50”
(4 feet 2 inches) from any obstruction to flow.
–
For square ducts, use the longer of the two sides with an insertion point a
minimum of 50” (4 ft and 2in) from any obstruction to flow.
3. Drill a 3/8” hole into the duct at the location described above. Insert the probe into the
duct perpendicular to the air flow so that the angle-cut probe face opens into the air
flow as shown. (FIG. 7)
