Scentworks Classic Calypso Ceramic Halogen
Wax Melter.
Please read the instructions and safety tips before use. Your warmer
comes with a one-year limited warranty. If for any reason you need service, please call

How to Operate
1. Place warmer on level, heat resistant, stain resistant surface. Make sure it is out of reach
of children and pets and will not be knocked over or moved during operation.
2. Insert the plug into the wall outlet.
3. Place wax melts into the wax melter dish. Make sure that there is enough room in the
wax melter dish to fit all of the wax once it melts. Do not overfill.
4. Turn light on by flipping on/off toggle switch on cord. Halogen bulb quickly warms dish
to release fragrance in minutes with no open flame. Also serves as a perfect nightlight
even without wax melting.
5. Turn off appliance when finished, not in use, or left unattended.
6. Remove plug from wall outlet.
7. To remove leftover wax, let the wax cool and solidify and then carefully pop the wax
out of the wax melter dish using a plastic or wood utensil.
Tips
• If wax is not melting, make sure that the light is on.
• If wax spills on the warmer, use a plastic spatula to scrape the wax off. Use a paper
towel to rub off any remaining wax. Do not use metal or any other sharp objects to
scrape off melted wax.
Maintenance
• Unplug unit.
• Wait for unit to completely cool before cleaning.
• Discard wax remaining in wax melter dish.
• Use a warm, moist, soapy sponge or soft cloth to clean inside and out.
NEVER SUBMERGE UNIT IN WATER.
• Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• When warming bulb wears out, replace with 25W halogen bulb.
Precautions
CAUTION: To reduce, the risk of fire and electric shock, follow these directions
for use:
• Read all instructions, including these important safeguards in this manual.
• Use caution when handling – the body may become very hot. Do not touch while light
is on. Do not place warmer on or near sensitive or flammable surfaces such as furniture,
fabrics and bedding.
• Do not obstruct airflow.
• Use cord in a properly functioning 110-volt grounded electrical outlet only. Do not allow
cord to hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
• Hot wax may cause serious injury. Do not add water to hot wax.
• Do not warm flammable oils or liquids in this warmer.
• This appliance is not intended to be used for food, drinks or dining services.
• Always allow body to cool before touching. Do not move warmer when full of hot wax
or fragrance.
• Turn off warmer when not in use or before cleaning.
• Turn off, unplug and allow warmer to cool before replacing bulb. Use only a 25 watt
halogen bulb.
• Do not immerse in water or any other liquid or use in damp or wet conditions.

EYE IRRITANT:
If liquid wax contact is made with eyes, flush with water for 20 minutes.
If irritation persists, consult a physician.
CAUTION: When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always

• Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in oven.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer and may

damaged in any manner.
• Do not use warmer if the power cord is frayed or damaged.
• This product is not a toy and is for adult use only. Keep out of reach of children and
pets as serious injury could result.
• Do not use in small confined pet areas without adequate ventilation.
• Do not use outdoors. Intended for household use only.
• To disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet. Never pull on cord to disconnect.

This power supply cord has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This
plug will only fit in a polarized outlet one way. If it doesn’t fit, reverse the plug. If you do
not have a polarized outlets, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet.
Do not change the plug in any way.
• A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords can be used if care is
exercised in their use. The marked electrical rating of the extension cord shall be at least
as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
