You may rinse out the filter without removing it from the basket. To do this, secure the filter in the basket with the filter lock
(10).
•
Let the appliance cool down for at least 5 minutes before next use.
ATTENTION
:
During brewing process, the water is forced through ground coffee under high steam pressure. At this
point you cannot remove the basket with the filter and open the cover.
PAUSE MODE
•
This mode allows to terminate the coffee brewing process. Turn the switch into the PAUSE position, the appliance will stop
and you may remove the carafe and pour the cappuccino into cups. After that, place the carafe in its place and continue
brewing by turning the switch into
position.
BREWING CAPPUCCINO
•
Cappuccino is espresso topped with steamed and frothed milk.
•
Pour the amount of milk necessary for making froth into the pitcher (not supplied). The pitcher must be large enough since
froth amount is three times bigger than milk amount.
•
Follow all steps for BREWING ESPRESSO
•
Let all coffee drip into the carafe.
•
Immerse the frothing tube into milk and turn the switch into
position.
•
Turn the frothing tube counterclockwise holding it by the frothing aid.
•
The steam will come out of the nozzle to froth the milk. For a better effect, gently move the pitcher up and down.
•
Continue frothing the milk until desired result is reached.
•
After enough amount of froth has been formed, turn the mode switch into the “OFF” position and unplug the appliance.
•
Pour the espresso and top it with the steamed milk.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Do not forget to unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
•
Let the appliance cool down, and then wipe outside with a soft dry cloth. Do not use detergent or abrasives.
•
Wash all detachable parts with hot soapy water, then rinse and dry before fitting to place.
DESCALING
•
Descale your coffee maker regularly.
•
Operate the appliance as described. Add proper descaling remedy, available at the market to the water tank and do not fill the
filter with ground coffee. Follow recommendations given.
•
After descaling let the appliance work twice more with only water to rinse away the vinegar and scale remainders.
•
Clean the coffee maker about every 5 months to keep high efficiency.
STORAGE
•
Complete all requirements of chapter CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.
•
Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
