Thermal behavior of TrustBox
5.1
Convection Cooling Method
The applied cooling method provides adequate cooling of the device during operation and
performs a one-way thermal transfer to the chassis. TrustBox has an integrated heatsink
with heat spreader contact to the casing. The internal heatsink provides heat dissipation
during operation.
To provide sufficient heat dissipation for the cooling of TrustBox, never cover the chassis.
Do not place any objects on the device. Do not place the device under any object blocking
the top surface of TrustBox. Avoid using TrustBox laying upside down, i.e. with the logo
looking downs.
5.2
Maximum Operating Temperature
The maximum system ambient temperature depends mostly on the power consumption of
the processor and which interfaces are used.
