For proper operation, hood, gas pipe and clamp
should be replaced periodically according to manufac

turer recommendations and when required.

Gas should burn well in gas appliances. Well burn

ing gas can be understood from blue flame and contin-
uous burning. If gas does not burn sufficiently, carbon
monoxide (CO) can be generated. Carbon monoxide is
a colourless, odourless and very toxic gas; even small
amounts have lethal effect.

bers for emergencies related to gas and the measures
to be taken upon gas odour is detected.
