Maintenance and Service
Replace the BioPAT
®
Xgas if the sensors are defective. An LED lighting up
continuously in red after the startup and warm-up phase indicates
malfunctioning or defective sensors.
On-site repairs are not possible. Inform the Service Department of Sartorius
Stedim Biotech.
Sartorius Stedim Biotech recommends having the sensor checked and
recalibrated once a year at the factory. Moreover, send the sensor back in the
event of an incorrect or failed 1-point calibration, in the event of strong signal
alteration without major changes to the measuring conditions.
Sartorius Stedim Biotech shall not be liable for repairs made by the customer
or any resulting damage, especially in the event of

use of non-approved spare parts.

non-approved technical changes.

Inspections can be carried out on-site by authorized service personnel or
by any service representative of Sartorius Stedim Biotech.

In the event of service requests or warranty claims, please notify your
representative of Sartorius Stedim Biotech or Sartorius Service.

You can return defective devices or parts.
Returned devices must be clean and in hygienically flawless condition and
packed carefully, e.g. in accordance with the safety guidelines applicable to
the process.

Inform the Service Department in the event of a return.

Provide a Declaration of Decontamination with the return shipment. The
Service Department must be able to read it before opening the packaging.
The information must detail the media and microorganisms the
BioPAT
®
Xgas has come into contact with and the measures taken to
disinfect and decon taminate it.
