2. Safety Notes
•
The bar cooler should be connected to a separate socket. Do not use similar devices
which allow numbers of electrical appliances to be operated together from electrical
outlet.
•
The outlet must be easily accessible, so that the plug can easily be removed in the case
of an emergency.
•
If you pull the plug from the socket, always pull at the plug and never at the cable.
•
The cable must not come into contact with water or hot parts.
•
Do not touch the cable and the plug with moist or wet hands.
•
Regularly check the cable. If it is damaged, it must be exchanged by a specialist.
•
Keep the bar cooler out of direct sun or other heat sources to ensure correct tempe-
ratures can be achieved.
•
Never place heavy objects or items containing water on top of the appliance. Objects
could fall down and cause injury and spilled water could deteriorate the insulation of
electrical components and result in electrical leakage.
•
Never put dangerous products (inflammable and explosive) nearby the bar cooler.
•
Use the bar cooler only outdoors, if it is protected against rain.
•
Grasp the handle when closing the door. Holding at other positions could result in
pinched fingers and injury.
•
Do not push hand against or apply excessive force to glass surfaces as the glass could
break and cause injury.
•
Repairs may only be undertaken by a qualified specialist using original spare parts.
•
Do not attempt to repair the bar cooler by yourself.
•
Do not touch the compressor (burn danger).
•
Ensure that children do not play with appliance respectively the door.
•
Before each cleaning session or repair pull the power plug out of the socket. Do not use a
wet rag (only moist), high pressure cleaner or a jet of water.
•
Attention: After power failure or unplugging the bar cooler, always wait at least 5
minutes before putting the plug into the socket.
3. Transportation and Placement
•
Please be careful during the transportation or moving of the bar cooler.
•
To prevent possible compressor damage, transport the appliance in upright position.
•
Take good care of the glass panes to prevent breakage.
•
Place the bar cooler on a stable, dry and level surface.
•
Keep the bar cooler away from hot air sources. Cooling performance is reduced if the
appliance is placed near heat sources such as hot plates and stoves and if it is exposed
to direct sunlight.
•
The space between the appliance and any wall should be at least 10 cm. If there are no
space, cooling capacity can drop down.
•
Do not block the air intake openings and the air discharge outlets in the bar cooler.
•
Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the tension indicated on the
identification plate agrees with the tension on your electricity mains (230V/50Hz/1Ph).
•
