IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully read the instructions in this manual and keep them from further reference for the duration of
the products life. They include important instructions regarding operation, safety for installing, using
and maintaining the product.
•
After unpacking, make sure that the appliance is intact with no signs of damage caused by
transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact the supplier.
•
If there is crack on the heating plate, immediately cut off the power supply and stop usage.
•
Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the power supply voltage corresponds with that
shown on the rating label.
•
The appliance is not intended for use by children or infants without supervision.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
•
Supervision is necessary when the appliance is used near children.
•
Do not operate the appliance outdoors without adequate precautions.
•
The appliance is designed only for heating and warming food and must only be used when cooking
pots or pans are placed on it.
•
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
•
The power plug must be removed from power socket before cleaning, servicing, maintenance or
moving the appliance.
•
Improper installation may result in the risk of fire, electric shock and/or injury to persons.
•
The appliance has no user-serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt to repair, disassemble
or modify the appliance.
•
Do not the touch the surface or hotplate when the appliance is operating or cooling down after use.
•
Do not allow the cord to touch the hotplate during operation or cooling down after use.
•
Do not leave the appliance unattended when the appliance is operating.
•
Do not leave the appliance without supervision when oil and/or fat are being heated.
•
The appliance must be cooled down completely after use before storing. Please allow at least 30
minutes for the appliance to cool down.
•
The cooker should be kept well clear of any inflammable materials such as curtains and other
flammable materials.
•
The cooker should not be placed direct on a surface that could be damaged by heat. A
heat-insulating base may be needed.
•
The power cord should not hang over the edge of the work surface during operation.
•
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a
similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
•
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
