Always turn the appliance off and unplug the power cord from the outlet before unplugging the
adjustable thermostat from its socket;

Clean the appliance after use;
•
Let the appliance to cool down completely before disassembling the grill plate, before cleaning
and storage;
•
Do not touch or clean the grill plate with sharp or abrasive objects, because this will damage the
non-stick coating.
Before using for the first time
1.
Remove all the packaging materials and clean the appliance with damp cloth;
2.
Clean the grill plate and the appliance thoroughly.
Use of the appliance
Note: When using the appliance for the first time, it may emit light smoke and smell for a short
time. This is absolutely normal.
1.
Slide the dripping tray under the grill plate;
2.
Plug the adjustable thermostat in the socket on the side of the appliance;
3.
Turn the regulation knob to the desired position depending on the food to be grilled. The light
indication will turn on;
4.
Place the food on the hot grill plate when the indicator light go off. During operation, the
indicator will go on and off from time to time, indicating that the appliance is maintaining the
selected temperature;
5.
Flip over the food from time to time;
6.
When the food is ready, remove it from the gill plate. Use wooden spatula or other wooden
utensils. Do not use metal, sharp or abrasive kitchen tools;
7.
For best results, remove the excess fat from the grill plate by using kitchen paper. Clean the food
residue from the grill plate by using small amount of cooking oil and wooden spatula, before
putting the next batch of food for baking;
8.
To continue grilling, place the next batch of food on the plate when the light indicator go off.
Useful Tips
•
The grill part of the plate is perfect for preparing meat and poultry. The flat part of the plate is
perfect for preparing fish, eggs, ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, onion, etc. You can use the flat part
of the plate to keep the food hot;
•
You can use the grill plate for keeping the food warm. Cover the grill part of the plate with
aluminum baking foil and set the adjustable thermostat at lower setting;
•
Succulent pieces of meat are perfect to be baked on the grill part of the plate;
•
Steaks and ribs become more juicy if they have been marinated one day before grilling;
•
Flip over the food from time to time by using wooden spatula (pegs) to keep the inner part of the
meat juicy and tasty;
•
Do not use metal objects such as forks or pegs, because they may damage the non-stick coating
of the grill plate;
•
Do not flip over the food too often;
•
When the food get golden crust on both sides, reduce the temperature in order to keep the food
juicy and evenly baked;
•
For food defrosting, wrap it with aluminum baking foil and set the temperature to medium
setting. Flip over the food from time to time. The defrosting time depends on the food weight;
