When preparing poultry, pork or veal, start baking it on high temperature. If desired set the
temperature at lower setting and continue baking until the food is ready;
•
When preparing skewers, soak the bamboo or wooden sticks in water in order to prevent burning
during grilling;
•
Do not use metal sticks;
•
Sausages may split open during grilling. Tenderize them with fork or other sharp utensil;
•
Fresh meat is better for baking than the frozen or defrosted one;
•
Do not salt the meat before or during baking, because this will dry it;
•
For best results, the meat should not be too thick. The recommended thickness of the meat
should be approx. 1.5cm;
•
This appliance is not intended for baking breaded food.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Note: Never use abrasive and scouring cleaning solutions and pads for cleaning the appliance,
because this will damage the non-stick coating of the plate.
1.
Turn the regulation knob to “OFF” position;
2.
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely;
3.
Unplug the adjustable thermostat from its socket on the side of the appliance;
4.
Wipe the adjustable thermostat with damp cloth. Never immerse the thermostat and the power
cord or plug in water or other liquids;
5.
Before cleaning the grill plate, wipe the excess fat from it by using kitchen paper;
6.
Slide out the dripping tray from under the grill plate;
7.
Clean the grill plate with soft cloth or sponge and warm soapy water;
8.
Wipe dry the grill plate, dripping tray and spatula (pegs). The inside of the adjustable thermostat
socket should be completely dry before plugging the thermostat. Use soft dry cloth to dry up the
thermostat socket;
9.
Reassemble the appliance and store it in a cool and dry plate.
