ADDING A VOICE MEMO
In the single-shot still image shooting mode, you can record up to
approximately 10 seconds of sound (called a “voice memo”) when capturing
the image. The voice memo is a monaural recording.

Set the camera to the still image shooting mode, and display PAGE
1 of the Shooting Setting Screen (page 53).

Select the capture still image with
voice memo icon

from the
operation mode menu, and press
the SET button.

Press the shutter button to capture
the image, and then talk into the
microphone.

During recording, RECORDING
appears in the upper right area of
the LCD monitor.
h
Take care not to cover the
microphone with your fingers.
h
A voice memo of up to about 10
seconds can be recorded.
h
To end the recording before 10
seconds has elapsed, press the
shutter button.
