OUTPUT TERMINALS

REMOTE Jack

Remote control of the VCR is possible by connecting a
remote controller with a circuit such as indicated below,
to the REMOTE jack.

NOTES:

The functions not available on the VCR will not
operate.

Use a 3.5 mm mini-jack type plug.

The connection should be done using a shielded
cable no more than 5 meters long.

Remote control setting

The remote control switch 7 can be set to either eject
the tape or access the menus.

Press the MENU button until the (SET UP 1) menu
is displayed.

Turn the JOG dial, until the “REMOTE” setting is
flashing.

Turn the SHUTTLE ring, to select the desired switch
mode.

EJECT . . . . . Switch 7 will eject the tape.

MENU . . . . . Switch 7 will display the menu.

Press the SEARCH/AUDIO ON button to save the
setting.
