Autorepeat Recording
The same tape can be recorded over many times.

Follow the Before starting steps, under “NORMAL
RECORDING”.

Press the MENU button until the (SET UP 3) menu
is displayed.
Y
The “ALARM MODE” setting is flashing.

Turn the JOG dial, until the “TAPE END MODE”
setting is flashing.

Turn the SHUTTLE ring to set to “REPEAT1” or
“REPEAT2”. (Please refer to page 20, “Setting the
Mode at the End of the Tape”.)

Press the SEARCH/AUDIO ON button to save the
setting.

The REPEAT indicator will light.

Press the REC/PLAY SPEED

set the recording speed mode.

Press the REC button.
Y
Recording will start. When the tape end is
reached, the VCR will rewind it to the
beginning, and recording will resume.
Y
When the end of the tape is reached, a buzzer
will be heard (if in the (SETUP 2) menu, in the
BUZZER section TAPE END is set to “Y”) and
“OFF” will be displayed until the rewinding
operation starts.
NOTES:

If during autorepeat recording there is an alarm
trigger, “AL” is displayed on the digital display and
alarm recording will take place. (Please refer to
page 22, “ALARM RECORDING”.)

If the “TAPE END MODE” setting is REPEAT1, the
REPEAT indicator will go off if there is an alarm
trigger. The recording will continue to the end of the
tape then it will be rewound to the beginning and
stop. “OFF” will be displayed on the digital display.
To turn off the buzzer (if in the (SETUP 2) menu, in
the BUZZER section TAPE END is set to “Y”) and
the “OFF” display, press the STOP, EJECT or PLAY
button, or turn the SHUTTLE ring.

If “AL” is displayed on the digital display and the
“TAPE END MODE” setting is REPEAT1, autorepeat
recording is not possible.
