2) Above characteristics indicate instantaneous operation, which does not take into
account defrost operation.
3) When the outdoor temperature is below freezing, the following problems may
occur, depending on the temperature and humidity condditions:
• The heating capacity may be substantially lowered.
• Heating operation and defrosting may occur repeatdly in alternation.
• If operation continues under the above condition, the outdoor heat
exchanger may freeze
The above problem are not due to a malfunction. The air conditioner is simply
not capable of countinuous heating operation under such temperature and
humidty conditions. In such cases, turn off the air conditioner and use another
heating device.
