Backlight:
BLC:
Backlight compensation. If the lens is exposed to strong backlight, you can activate
the „backlight“ function in order to achieve a clear picture of both the object itself and
the background. Adjustments can be made for different areas (top, bottom, left, right)
and for different levels (medium, high, low).
HLC
(only for cameras VTC-8100P, VTC-8112P, VTC-8200P and VTC-8212P):
Highlight Compensation. Highlights in the picture can be deleted which makes the
picture sharper. The level can be set from 0-150.
WDR
(only for cameras VTC-8300WDP and VTC-8312WDP):
When in WDR mode, you will get into the sub-menu by pressing the joystick (SET).
You can adjust the “WDR-limit” by choosing “low”, “medium” or “high”. Moreover, you
can adjust the value from 0-100.
DNR (Digital Noise Reduction):
Noise can be reduced. If the DNR value is increased and thus the noise is reduced, artefacts
may occur. The level can be set from 1-32.
If AGC is switched off, the DNR function is off, too.
Day/Night:
Colour: colour mode
BW: black/white mode
Auto: automatic switching to colour or black/white mode
External:
The switching is done by an external sensor which is connected tot he
camera (interface at the camera backside „Day/Night IN“).
Image Adj:
Freeze
V-Rev: vertically reversed display of the picture
H-Rev: horizontally reversed display of the picture
D-Zoom (ON, OFF): 1x to 10x digital zoom. If the zoom is active, max. zoom is up to
10x.
Sharpness (ON, OFF): By increasing the sharpness, the edges of the object become
clearer. However, if the sharpness is set too high, noise may occur and the picture
may be blurred (level 1-31).
Return: Save your settings and return to set-up menu.
