Safety instructions:
•
Please read the manual carefully before using your heating pad for the fi rst time.
•
Do not use the heating pad while you sleep or if you are about to fall asleep, as
prolonged use, or use at too high a setting, can lead to burns. Do not let children use
the heating pad without supervision, keep the pad away from animals and never leave it
unattended.
•
Do not use your sanowell heating pad if you are sensitive to heat or if you are in a wet
environment (e.g. the bathroom).
•
Operate the heating pad only at 220~240V.
•
Since the electromagnetic fi elds created by the product may lead to undesired
interaction with pacemakers, consult your physician before using the pad. You should
also ask a physician before using the heating pad on sensitive, irritated or infl amed
skin.
•
Check the heating pad for damage before every use. Such damage may be caused by
careless handling, i.e. using the pad while it is bent or folded, damaging the pad with
needles or other pointed objects, using the pad without the original cover, applying
pressure to the pad (e.g. by sitting on it) and pulling or twisting the power cord.
•
The switch may grow hot during operation and must therefore not be covered or
placed on the heating pad.
•
If you detect a defect in your sanowell heating pad, or if you have dropped the pad
in water, pull the power plug out of the power outlet immediately. Do not touch the
heating pad until the power circuit has been interrupted!
•
Your sanowell heating pad may only be repaired and opened by an expert authorized by
hofmann gmbh, otherwise the guarantee will expire.
Operation
With your sanowell electric heating pad, you can enjoy pleasant, relaxing warmth at several
temperature settings. The fastening strip allows you to position the pad on the desired
body part, applying heat and increasing the blood circulation in that area to soothe tense
muscles.
