for

use

 

which

 

does

 

not

 

conform

 

to

 

this

 

instruction

 

manual

 

or

 

to

 

current

Preparing

 

the

 

brush

 

cutter

 

for

 

work

 

WARNING:

 

Do

 

not

 

use

 

the

 

hedge

 

trimmer

 

without

 

having

 

fully

 

assembled

 

it

 

first

 

and

 

made

 

sure

 

that

 

all

 

parts

 

are

 

in

 

place

 

and

 

correctly

 

tightened!

Assembling

 

the

 

brush

 

cutter

 

Unpack

 

and

 

inspect

 

all

 

of

 

the

 

parts

 

carefully

 

and

 

make

 

sure

 

that

 

no

 

parts

 

are

 

missing,

 

bent

 

or

 

damaged.

 

Check

 

that

 

all

 

parts

 

function

 

properly.

 

Assembling

 

the

 

handlebar

 

Attach

 

the

 

handlebar

 

to

 

the

 

brush

 

cutter’s

 

main

 

shaft,

 

positioning

 

the

 

handles

 

accordingly

 

to

 

suit

 

a

 

right

 

or

 

left

handed

 

user

 

(see

 

figs.

 

1

 

and

 

2).

 

Insert

 

and

 

tighten

 

in

 

the

 

handle’s

 

four

 

fixing

 

screws

 

(fig.

 

3).

 

The

 

operator

 

control

 

handle

should

 

be

 

positioned

 

so

 

that

 

the

 

throttle

 

trigger

 

(C)

 

is

 

facing

 

the

 

direction

 

of

 

cut

 

and

 

can

 

be

 

applied

 

comfortably

 

using

 

the

 

index

 

finger.

 

If

 

necessary,

 

the

 

handle

 

can

 

be

 

turned

 

through

 

180

 

deg

 

by

 

removing

 

the

 

screw
