Using SD cards
Secure Digital (SD or SDHC) cards can be used with the DCR-10
for playback of MP3 or WMA files. The DCR-10 can also record to
SD and SDHC media in MP3 format.
The DCR-10 has been tested with a range of SD cards. SD cards
up to 32GB are supported. However, there are many different
card variants available and not all cards can be guaranteed to
work in the DCR-10. Memory must use the FAT or FAT32 filing
system in order to operate with the DCR-10.
SD card slot is located at the rear of the unit next to the DC
in socket.
Inserting and removing SD cards
1. To insert an SD card into your radio, and slid the SD card into
the SD card slot. To remove the card push the card in slightly
and it will pop out allowing removal.
Note:
The SD card should not be removed during a recording as
damage or corruption of files on the card may occur.
2. To select SD card mode press the Source button until the
desired mode is shown on the display. “READING” will first
appear on the display, and the total number of files and folders
on the SD card will be displayed.
