CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Switch off and disconnect the unit from the socket before
assembling or dismantling of the appliance.
Keep the air vents on the back of the fan free of dust or
lint. If necessary, use a vacuum cleaner to remove them.
Do not insert anything to remove the dust or lint.
You can clean the main parts of the fan with a damp
cloth and dry them thoroughly.
Do not allow water or any other liquid to enter the mo-
tor.
Clean the water tank with clean water once a week or
more if there is dirt in the tank. Never use dishwashing
liquid to clean the water tank. Clear water is sufficient.
It is also advisable to descale the tank once or twice a
year. To do this, fill the tank with water and vinegar,
empty and rinse again with clear water.
Do not use chemicals, gasoline, kerosene or any other
abrasive product to clean the fan.
If the product is not used for a long period of time, clean
it thoroughly, drain the water from the tank, dry it thor-
oughly, wrap the product in its packaging and store it in
a dry place.
