3. Clean the air inlet and outlet grilles regularly.

4. Do not immerse the appliance in water or rinse it under the tap.

5. Do not dismantle or modify the appliance as this would automatically cancel the guarantee.

6. If you detect any anomaly, contact one of our many offi cial S&P servicing shops

7. If the  fl exible mains cable is damaged, it must only be replaced by one of our Offi cial 

Repair workshops, as special tools are needed.

NOTE: It is very important to carry out a thorough cleaning of the appliance at least 
once a year to reduce the possibility of accidents.

5. SHUT DOWN DUE TO OVERHEATING

If there are any overheating problems, the built in overheating shut down system will 
automatically switch off the appliance.

If this occurs, do as indicated below:

Unplug the appliance, let it cool down for 15 minutes, and clean the outlet grille, with a 
vacuum cleaner if necessary.

If after these actions, the appliance is still not working correctly, please contact the Offi cial 
S&P technical service network or the distributor you purchased the appliance from.

6. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

S&P’s large Technical Service network will guarantee adequate technical assistance.

If a fault is observed in the unit, please contact any of the mentioned technical service 
offi ces and they will attend to your problem.

Any manipulation of the appliance by personnel not belonging to the Offi cial S&P Services 
will result in your guarantee being void.

7.REMOVAL FROM SERVICE, DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING

- If the appliance is not to be used for any length of time, we recommend returning it to its 

original package and storing it in a dry, dust-free place.

- EU regulations and our commitment to future generations oblige us to recycle used 

materials; please remember to dispose of all unwanted packaging materials at the 
appropriate recycling points, and to drop off obsolete equipment at the nearest waste 
management point.

THE MANUFACTURER WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR DAMAGES TO PEOPLE AND/OR 
PROPERTY DUE TO NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THESE WARNINGS.
