MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Disconnect the device from the power supply before carrying out any maintenance opera-
tion.
2. Clean the exterior of the device using a cloth moistened with water. Do not use detergents
or abrasive products.
3. Clean the air filter once every two weeks with hot water (40ºC). Do not use detergents or
abrasive products. (Fig. 3)

REMOVAL FROM SERVICE / RECYCLING
EC regulations and our responsibility to future generations require us to recycle
materials; please do not forget to place all residual packaging materials in the re-
levant recycling bins and take all redundant equipment to the nearest Recycling
Centre.
The refrigerant gas used in models DHUM-12E/ 16E/ 20 E is of type R134a. The refrigerant
gas used in model DHUM-30E is of type R410a. Both types of refrigerant gas are covered by
the Kyoto Protocol. (CE) N 842/2006.
