SETTING UP AND OPERATION

Before setting up the device, carefully read the section above on SAFETY AND OPERATING
RECOMMENDATIONS.
•  Connect the unit to the power supply and press the Start / Stop button

The device in operation indicator light will automatically start blinking

.

Note: The device incorporates a delay system which causes it to wait for approximately 3
minutes before starting to operate, in order to protect the compressor. At the end of the delay
period, it starts working automatically and the indicator light

 ceases to blink.

•  Using the button

, select the required relative humidity for the room. By way of a guideli-

ne, a comfortable relative humidity level in a room at a temperature of 22ºC would be in the
range 55-60 %HR.

Once the required relative humidity has been selected, the relative humidity display indicator
(Fig. 2(h)) ceases to blink and indicates the current relative humidity in the room. If it is higher
than the required humidity, the device commences its dehumidification function. If it is lower,
the device remains in a waiting state (functioning only as a fan) with the indicator light

blinking.

  Note:

a) If the % HR in the room is below 30%, the display shows “LO” and the device will remain

in standby mode, only the fan is working.

b) If the % HR in the room is over 90%, the display shows “HI“ and the device will start the

deshumidification process.

Continuous operation mode (CO)

If the user selects this option, the humidifier remains in operation permanently, regardless of
the level of humidity in the room. Use of this mode is recommended when the level of humidity
in the room is high.

Automatic operation mode (AU)

If the user selects this option, the dehumidifier self-regulates automatically depending on the
temperature in the room and the following operating settings.
