Troubleshooting
If you have problems connecting your
Sandberg USB to Bluetooth™ Link to an-
other device, check the following:
•
Check that the Bluetooth™ adapter is
inserted into the computer’s USB port,
and that the blue LED is on. Restart
your computer if requested.
•
Ensure that the distance between the
units does not exceed 10m. Place the
devices closer to each other if neces-
sary.
•
Devices you attempt to connect to must
have Bluetooth™ enabled and be config-
ured to accept contacts from other
Bluetooth™ devices. (This is the stan-
dard configuration for the Sandberg USB
to Bluetooth™ Link.)
•
Double-click on the Bluetooth™ icon on
the desktop. Click on
“Bluetooth”
in
the menu bar and select
“Search for
devices”
. The devices found during the
search are then displayed.
•
If you use Windows 98 you must have
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later
installed.
For further help or assistance in connection
with your Sandberg product, see details on
the last but one page of these instructions.
Have fun with your Sandberg USB to Blue-
tooth™ Link.
