4-1-4 TOUCH PAD Does Not Work
Symptom
Keypress input malfunction or failure
Major Checklist
Check if FPCB is defective.
Do touch keys respond?
Is the SWITCH in the
HOLD OFF position?
Is the TOUCH PAD malfunctioning?
Check the top of the unit to see if it is
set to HOLD SW ON.
Disassemble the unit and check if
FPCB is defective.
If the TOUCH is poor, replace the
TOUCH PAD.
Replace the BOARD
(needs thorough examination).
Disassemble the unit and check if
the TOUCH PAD has come off the
framework.
