DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES INFORMATION
Which detergent to use
Use powdered or liquid detergent. Do not use soap as the tub may become dirty from dirt on it.
Detergent compartment (a)
• Sprinkling powdered detergent directly onto the laundry
causes clothes to discolor. Make sure to add detergent
into the detergent compartment.
• When the water temperature or pressure is too low
or only hot water is supplied, the detergent may not
dissolve completely.
• Do not add foreign objects into the detergent
compartment. The detergent compartment may be
clogged.
• Adding detergent to the detergent compartment before the wash is recommended.
• Using the magic detergent compartment, you can eff ectively dissolve detergent and
prevent any undissolved detergent in the laundry.
To add softener (b)
1.
Add the softener to just below the guide line (MAX).
2.
After adding softener, make sure that you close the cover.
Failing to do so may result in water splashing out of the
compartment in areas with a high tap water pressure.
3.
Softener is automatically added to the water for the last rinse
cycle.
Please add softener to the compartment before running the
washer.
• Add normal softener.
(If you add softener for a drum washer or sticky
softener, the softener compartment may be
contaminated or softener may remain in the
compartment.)
• For highly-condensed softeners, the softener may not be added into the water in areas
with low tap water pressure.
• In areas with low tap water pressure, add the softener directly to the wash tub as the
softener may not be added into the tub automatically.
