If no cassette has been inserted when you press the
POWER

) button, the Timer indicator flashes. If the
safety tab on the cassette has been broken, the Timer
indicator flashes. Insert the appropriate cassette. If there is
a power failure or you disconnect the television from the
wall socket, all your settings are lost.

has been programmed correctly and cancel a preset recording.
