4-1-8. No Sound

Symptom

Video is normal but there is no sound..

Major

checkpoints

When the speaker connectors are disconnected or damaged.

When the sound processing part of the Main Board is not functioning.

Speaker defect..

Diagnostics

Change the CN408 (COMP, AV),

CN402(PC), CN406(Audio out) or

the Main PCB assy.

Change IC1001, IC301 or

the main PCB assy.

Yes

No sound

Yes

Check the sound source and

check the connection of

sound cable?

Input a sound signal.

Check the connected cable.

Replace the speaker.
