• Retrieve: retrieves the message from the
MMS server.
• Delete: deletes the message.
• More properties: shows you detailed
information about the message.
3. To read the message, press the key or Select
soft key.
Your phone retrieves the message contents from
the server and displays it.
4. To scroll through the message, press the Up or
Down key.
5. When you are finished, press the
key.
Viewing a message from the inbox
When you access the Inbox menu (Menu 5.2.2),
the list of multimedia messages you have received
displays along with the message subjects. The icons
on the left tell you the status of the messages:

: MMS notifications that have been opened.
•
: MMS notifications that have not been
opened.
•
: You have sent an enquiry to the MMS server
requesting the message be sent to your
phone.
•
: The MMS server is processing your request.
•
: The MMS server is unable to send the
message to your phone.
•
: Massages that have been opened.
•
: Massages that have not been opened.

1. Select a message on the list and press the
key or View soft key.
The message displays and scrolls to the next
page, if it has one, after a specified time; for
details about setting the time, see page 126.
2. Press the key or OK soft key to go to the
message view screen.
Or, the display automatically switches to the
screen after a few seconds.
3. To scroll through the message, press the Up or
Down key.
If the message has more than one page, you
can scroll through the pages by using the Left
and Right keys.
While viewing a message, you can choose the
Message options by pressing the key or Options
soft key.
If you are viewing a new message, the options are
the same as when you view a message at the time
of its receipt. See page 121.
When you are reviewing a message retrieved from
the MMS server, the following options are available:
Delete: deletes the message.
Reply: allows you to reply to the sender by sending
a text or multimedia message.
Call back: allows you to call the sender.
Save address: allows you to extract the sender’s
number or e-mail address and URL, e-mail
addresses or phone numbers from the message
text.
Forward: allows you to forward the message to
another person. When the message contains media
