2. When Add here highlights, press the key or
Options soft key and add the message contents
using one of the following options:
• Add text: enter the message text and press
the key or OK soft key.
• Add photo: allows you to add a photo you
took using the camera on your phone. Select
Take photo to take a new photo, or Select
photo to add one of the photos stored in the
phone’s memory. For further details about
using the camera, see page 156.
• Add picture: allows you to add a picture
stored in the Images folder (Menu 6.4).
Choose a picture and press the key or
Select soft key. You may not be able to add
some downloaded images if they are not in the
correct format.
• Add sound: allows you to add a sound file.
Select Record voice to record a new voice
memo, Voice list to add an existing voice
memo, or Sound list to add one of the sounds
in Sounds folder (Menu 6.3). You may not be
able to add some downloaded sounds if they
are not in the correct format.
• Send: allows you to send the message. Use
this option when you have finished creating
the message.
• Save: saves the message in the Draft (Menu
5.2.4) or Templates (Menu 5.2.5) box for
later use.
• Settings: allows you to change the message
settings. For further details about each setting
option, see page 126. After changing the
settings, you need to press the C key or
soft key to go to back to the options screen.

• Add destination: allows you to enter
destination addresses. See steps 6 to 11 on
page 120.
• Preview: shows your message as it will
display on the recipient’s phone.
Note: You can add text, an image, and a sound
once for each page.
3. Repeat step 2 until you have finished creating
your message.
4. If you want to change the added items, press
the Up or Down key to highlight one and press
the key or Options soft key to display the
Options list.
Note: Available options are different, depending
on whether the item you select on the
message screen is text, an image, a sound,
or the Page field.
The following options are available:
• Edit text/photo/picture/sound: allows you
to change the text or replace the image or
sound with another one.
• Add page: allows you to add up to 5 pages.
After adding pages, you can move to each
page using the Left or Right key on the
message screen. After you add a page, the
display shows you the current page number
and memory space used for the page.
• Delete: deletes the item from your message.
• Duration: allows you to set when and how
long text, an image or a sound displays on the
message presentation screen. When the
message is opened, the display scrolls to the
next item after a specified time in Set
duration.
