Using message options
While viewing a message or the message list, press
<
Options
> to access the following options:
•
Erase
: erase the currently selected message from
your Inbox.
•
Reply
: send a reply to the sender.
•
Forward
: send the message to other people.
•
Call/Save
: make a call to the sender’s phone
number or save the number to Phonebook.
•
Copy
: copy the message to a card or phone’s
memory.
•
Move
: move the message to a card or phone’s
memory.
Accessing voicemail messages
When you receive a voice mail message, a text
notification displays. Press <
Select
>, and the phone
dials the voicemail centre. Then follow the voice
prompts from the system to listen to the message.
You can also check your voicemail messages by
accessing
Voice
in the
Inbox
menu.
Accessing Web alerts
When you select
Web alert
in the
Inbox
menu, the
phone accesses your Alert Inbox on the wireless web,
so that you can view a message from your WAP server.
Outbox
(Menu 5-3)
Use this menu to access messages you have sent or
tried to send.
Viewing sent text messages
When you access the
Outbox
menu, a list of sent or
saved messages appears. Icons displayed on the list
indicate the messages’ status:
•
: Messages that have been successfully
delivered in a CDMA network.
In a GSM network, you can press and hold [
1
] in Idle
mode to access the voicemail centre.
