Creating and Sending New Messages
Use the Navigation key to highlight a media option, then press the OK (left)
soft key ( ). The following options appear in the display:
When you select Graphics or Animation:
• Preloaded
• Downloaded
Use the Navigation key to highlight a media option, then press the OK (left)
soft key ( ). A selected list of image or animation files appears in the
display.
When you select Sounds:
A list of sound files appears in the display.

Use the Navigation key to highlight a particular media file to add to your
message, then press the OK (left) soft key ( ). The selected media file
or a representative icon appears in the message text.

Once you’re finished entering your message text and adding media, press
the Options (right) soft key ( ). The following options appear in the
display:
• Edit Send To — Returns you to the Send To list to check or change recipients.
• Add — Add a graphic image, animation, sound file, or precomposed text (Quick
Text) to your message.
• Entry Mode — The text entry mode for your message. The modes are T9
Word , Abc , ABC , 123 , Symbols , and Add T9 Word . Use the Navigation key to
highlight the desired text entry mode.
• Edit Text Format — Choose the size, alignment, style, color, and other options
for formatting your text.
• Save As Draft — Save the message to your Drafts folder.
• Priority Level — Assign a handling priority (high or normal) to this message.
• Validity Period — Specify an expiration date and time for this message.
• Deferred Delivery — Specify an date and time for this message to be
delivered.
• Enh. Delivery Ack — Assign (On)/remove (Off) Enhanced Delivery
Acknowledgement for this message.
• Add To Contacts — Save the message recipient’s phone number or Email
address to your Contacts list.
Use the Navigation key to highlight a particular option, then press the OK
(left) soft key ( ) to set or use that option.

To send your message, press the Send (left) soft key ( ).
