Editing an Existing Contact Entry
• Send Text Msg
— Lets you send a text message to the selected Contact.
• Edit
— Lets you edit details of the highlighted Contact.
• Call
— Lets you place a call to the selected Contact, dialing the Default number.

Use the Navigation key to highlight an option, then press the
key to
enter that option’s sub-menu.
Editing an Existing Contact Entry
Once stored in the Contacts, an entry can be changed quite easily.
1.
In standby mode, press the Up navigation key (Contacts
Find
shortcut). The
Find
screen appears in the display.
2.
Enter the first few letters of the Contact name to find the Contacts list entry
and/or use the Navigation key to highlight the entry you wish to edit.
3.
Press the
Options
(right) soft key (
). The following options appear in
the display:
• New Contact
— Lets you add a new number to your Contacts list or to the
selected Contact.
• Erase
— Erases the selected Contact.
• Send Text Msg
— Lets you send a text message to the selected Contact.
• Edit
— Lets you edit details of the highlighted Contact.
• Call
— Lets you place a call to the selected Contact, dialing the Default number.

4.
Use the Navigation key to highlight the
Edit
option.
5.
Press the
key. The
Edit Contact
screen appears in the display with
the contact name highlighted.
6.
Use the Navigation key to highlight the information field you want to
change.
7.
Use the keypad keys to change the information in the highlighted field. (For
more information, see
“Entering Text”
on page 41,
“Adding a New
Contacts Entry”
on page 47, and
“Adding Pauses to Contacts Numbers”
on
page 49.)
8.
Press the
Save
(left) soft key (
) to save your changes.
