Sound Settings
If assigning ringer types for Calls, use the Navigation key to highlight
Voice
Calls
, then press the
OK
(left) soft key (
). The following options
appear in the display:
• My Ringtones
— Lets you select a downloaded melody or a melody that is
included with your phone.
• Melody Shuffle
— Lets you select multiple melodies. These melodies are played
in random order.
If assigning ringer types for Messages, use the Navigation key to highlight
Messages
, then press the
OK
(left) soft key (
). The following
Messages options appear in the display:
• Text Message
—
Lets you select a downloaded melody or a melody that is
included with your phone.
• Voice Mail
—
Lets you select a downloaded melody or a melody that is included
with your phone.

Use the Navigation key to highlight a melody/melodies.
Note:
To play the available ring tones, press the
Play
(right) soft key (
). Each tone plays through the
speaker as it is highlighted.

When the desired ringer type plays, press the
OK
(left) soft key (
) to
save your selection.
Alerts
You can set your phone to sound an alert whenever you enter or leave your service
area, connect a call, as well as other options.

In standby mode, press the

Sounds
), and

Alerts
. The following Alerts
sub-menus appear in the display:
• Minute Beep
— Sounds an alert ten seconds before each elapsed minute of a
call.
• Roaming
— Sounds an alert when you leave your home service area while on
a call.
• Call Connect
— Sounds an alert when your calls connect.
• Power On/Off
— Sounds an alert when you Power On or Power Off your
phone.
