While viewing a message, press the
Options
soft key to
access the following options:
Reply
: allows you to send a reply message to the sender.
Forward
: allows you to send the message to another
person.
Delete
: deletes the message.
Save #
: allows you to save the call back number of the
message.
Note:
The maximum number of characters that you can
enter differs from country to country.
Extracting Numbers from a Message
If there are numbers in the message contents, you can
make a call to one of them or save them in your
phonebook.
1. Press and the list of the numbers displays.
2.
Press or to
select
a
number.
3. Press or the
Send
soft key to make a call or the
Save
soft key to save the number.
Outbox

Your phone can store up to 54 numeric pages and text
messages all together in the inbox, outbox and filed
message.
Press
or
to scroll to a message in the list
and press the
Select
soft key. The phone displays the
message contents. If necessary, press
or
to
scan through the contents.
While reviewing a message, press the
Options
soft key
to access the following options:
Re-send
: allows you to resend the message. For further
information about sending a message, see page 85.
Delete
: deletes the selected message.
Note:

Filed Messages
SMS-5
Your phone can store draft messages that are yet to be
sent in the Filed Message box. You can access this box
at any time you want so that you can edit and send the
message.
To save unsent message to the Filed Message box:
1. Follow the procedures for writing a new message.
2. When you finish entering a message and setting the
options, select the
Save
option and press the
OK
soft
key.
When you enter the
Filed Msg
menu option (
SMS-5
),
the list of the filed messages displays. Press
or
to scroll to a message in the list and press the
Select
soft key.
