You can create and send short text messages.

Note

: Sending a message is only supported when your

phone is in digital networks and if your network
supports this service.

1. Enter the destination number using the number

keypad and press the

soft key.

To recall a number from your Phonebook, press the

Options

soft key and select

Phonebook

2. Enter the message contents. For further details about

entering characters, see page 37.

Note:

The maximum number of characters that you can
enter differs from country to country.

You can use 10 message text stored in the phone.
Press the

Options

soft key and select

Canned

Select one from the list, and it is inserted in your
message.

3. When you finish entering message, press the

soft

key.

message was sent.

Filed Message

: indicates that a message has

been filed and failed.

Message sent

: displays when a message is sent.

: displays when you have read a
