Unit conversion
(Menu 8.8.2)
Use this menu for common conversions, such
as length and temperature.
1. Press <
Options > and select a converter.
2. Enter the value to be converted and press
[Down].
• Press [ ] to insert a decimal point.
• Press <
Clear > to delete the entered
number.
3. Press [Left] or [Right] to select the original
unit and press [Down].
4. Press [Left] or [Right] to select the unit to
which you want to convert.
The equivalent value for the amount you
entered displays.
Countdown
(Menu 8.9)
This menu helps you measure how long it takes
you to do something or how many days remain
until a specific event occurs. The alarm for the
timer you set will sound at 9 AM on the
specified day.
Creating a countdown timer
1. Press < New >.
2. Enter the event for your countdown timer
and press < Select >.
• You can save a value into the calculator
memory by pressing < Options > and
selecting MS . To clear the saved value, select
MC .
• You can reset the calculator by pressing
< CE >.
