Contacts
(Menu 2)
You can store phone numbers and their
corresponding names in your card and the
phone’s memory. The card and phone’s
memory, although physically separate, are used
as if they were a single entity, called Contacts.
To access this menu, press <
Menu > in Idle
mode and select Contacts .
Find
(Menu 2.1)
Use this menu to find a contact using a person’s
name, group name, memory location, or speed
dial location number.
Finding a contact
1. Press [Left] or [Right] to select a search
method.
2. Enter the first few letters of the name you
want or speed dial location number, or select
a memory location, or a caller group.
3. Select a contact.
4. Scroll to a number and press [
] to dial, or
press < Edit > to edit contact information.
Using Contacts options
While viewing contact details, press
< Options > to access the following options:
• Release main # : cancel the main number
setting.
• Set main # : set the number as the main
number for the contact.
• Speed dial : assign a speed dial location
number to the selected number.
• Edit : edit the selected contact.
• Copy : copy the selected number to the
other memory location.
You can quickly access this menu by pressing
< Find > in Idle mode.
