Messaging

When you access the Inbox menu, the list of 
messages you have received displays. The icons 
on the left tell you the status of messages:

•

: Messages that have been opened.

•

: Messages that have not been opened.

•

: Urgent messages. The red one means that 

the message has not been opened and the 
blue one means that the message has been 
opened.

To view a message, scroll to the message you 
want and press 

. If necessary, press 

 or 

 

to scan through the message. You can move to 
the next or previous message by pressing   or 

.

Press 

 to send a reply message to the sender. 

For further details about sending a message, see 
page 63.

Press   to access the following options:

Call: places a call to the callback number.

Reply: allows you to send a reply to the sender.

Forward: allows you to forward the message to 
another person.

(Un)Lock: locks or unlocks the message.

Save#: extracts phone numbers from the 
message text.

Mark Deletion: allows you to delete the marked 
message(s).

Erase: allows you to erase the message from the 
Inbox.
