Ringer Type  

(MENU 8-2-2)

This menu allows you to set the unique ringer 
melodies for incoming calls, messages, schedule, 
and roaming.

Alerts  

(MENU 8-2-3)

Your phone gives audible alerts (beeps) at a 
specified time to inform you that certain things 
have happened.

The following alerts are available:

Minute Beep: When this option is set to On, the 
phone sounds an alert 10 seconds before each 
elapsed minute to remind you of the length of the 
current call.

Service: When this option is set to On, the phone 
sounds an alert when you exit a service area or 
when you return to a service area. 

Connect: When this option is set to On, the 
phone sounds the connect tone when your call is 
connected to the system.

Signal Fade: When this option is set to On, the 
phone sounds an alert when a dropped call occurs 
during conversation in response to a signal fade.

Power On/Off: When this option is set to On, 
the phone sounds an alert when it switches on.

Flip Sound: When this option is set to On, the 
phone sounds an alert when you open or close the 
phone.
