Switching the child lock on / off
TIMER
Switch off cooking zones automatically with the timer

Touch the
Lock
button for approxi-
mately 3 seconds.
An acoustic signal will sound as confir -
mation.
will appear in the displays, indicating
the child safety lock has been activated.
For switching the child lock off, touch the Lock button again
for 3 seconds. An acoustic signal will sound as confirmation.
There are two ways to use the timer:
Using the timer as a safety shutoff:
If a specific time has been set for a cooking zone, the cooking
zone will switch itself off as soon as that time has elapsed.
This function can also be used for several cooking zones at the
same time.
Using the timer to count down:
The countdown timer cannot be used if a cooking zone has been
switched on.
The cooking zone(s) for which you want to apply the safety
shutoff must be switched on.
Turn on the device and touch the timer
setting sensor key . The display of
the corresponding cooking zone starts
flashing. If necessary, touch the imer
setting sensor key several times until
the required cooking zone is flashing.
