FAX
Loading Document(s)
You can use the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or the
document glass to load an original document for faxing. Your ADF
can load up to 30 sheets at a time. Using the document glass, you
can load one sheet at a time.

Feed the document(s) face up, with the top edge leading into
the ADF. Adjust the document guides to the width of the
document. Then gently feed it in until “DOCUMENT READY”
appears in the display.
Or
Place a single document on the document glass face down
then close the cover.

If necessary, use the Resolution and the Contrast buttons
to adjust the quality of your faxes. For details, see page 5.4.
