Self Timer
When the self-timer is enabled, there is a time delay for 2 or 10 seconds before recording starts.
You can record or take photos of yourself.
PRECHECK!
Select the record ( / ) mode by pressing the MODE button. page 27
1. Touch the Menu ( ) tab “ Self Timer ” touch the desired
submenu item.
2. To exit the menu, touch the Return ( ) tab.

Off : Disables the digital zoom function and only optical zoom (and
intelli-zoom) is available.
On : Enables higher digital zoom magnification.

The resolution and quality of the image magnified by the digital zoom may
deteriorate as the optically magnified image is electronically magnified.
You cannot magnify the image with the digital zoom while taking the photos.
When you specify “
Digital Zoom: On ,” “ Face Detection ” is set to “ Off ”
automatically.
