Language and Input Options
Some of the language and input options are detailed below.
1. From the home screen, tap
Apps

3. Set options:
Language
: Tap a language to assign it.
Default keyboard
: Tap an input method to set it as the default.
Samsung keyboard
: Configure your keyboard options.
Google voice typing
: Configure your options, including language detection.
Samsung voice typing
: Select the language to use with Samsung voice input.
Language
: Handwriting can be recognized in Notes. Use this option to select a language that
is used by the device to recognize your handwriting.
Text-to-speech
: Tap a settings option and follow the prompts.
Pointer speed
: Drag the bar to adjust the speed, and then tap
OK
.
Date and Time Settings
Use the Date and Time settings menu either to automatically use the network-provided date and time or
manually set these values, as well as select time and date format options.

The following Date and time options may be configured:

Description
Automatic date and time
Set the date, time, and time zone automatically using the connected
wireless network.
Set date
Set the date manually (only available when Automatic date and time
option is disabled).
Set time
Set the time manually (only available when Automatic date and time
option is disabled).
Select time zone
Set the time zone manually (only when Automatic time zone is disabled).
Use 24-hour format
Enable or disable 24-hour time format.
