Making a Call Using Speed Dial
Speed dial numbers allow you to call contacts by simply
dialing a 1-, 2-, or 3- digit number. For details on how to
assign speed dial numbers to contacts, see
“Assigning
Speed Dials”
on page 61.
To make a call using Speed Dial:
1.
Touch
Phone

2.
Touch
Keypad
, if necessary.
3.
From the onscreen keypad, touch and hold the speed
dial number.
If the speed dial number is more than 1 digit long,
enter the digits and hold the last digit until the contact
is dialed. For example, to dial speed dial number 12,
touch 1, then touch and hold 2.
Making a Call from the Address Book
You can store phone numbers that you use regularly on the
SIM card or in the device’s memory. These entries are
collectively called the
Address Book
.

Answering a Call
You can answer incoming calls when the device is locked or
unlocked. When you receive a call, an incoming call screen
displays. The caller’s phone number or name is displayed, if
stored in the Address Book.
To answer the call:
Touch and drag
in any direction.
To reject the call and send it to your voicemail:
Touch and drag
in any direction.
To reject the call with a message:
Touch and drag the
Reject call with message
tab upward.

Touch a predefined text message to send to the caller.

Create new message
to compose a new message.
To end the call:

End call

Note:
You can answer a call while using the Address Book or
other functions. After ending the call, the phone returns
to the previously active function screen.
